What's this? This tool lets you evaluate keeper's skill based on his value (TSI) and form. This evaluation is not based on some
spohisticated calculation or formula it only use the power of an online assistant manager, where a lot of info about
HT players are together. Since we have more then 20.000 goalkeepers in our database we can make a good estimation about a
goalkeeper skill based on his form and TSI.
How does it works? You select the form of the keeper and his TSI, and we calculate the average goaltending skill of the keepers
which has the same level of form , and their TSI are between (your goalie tsi - 10% ; your goalie tsi + 10%). We call this 10% the
accuracy of the calculation, and you can change this from the 'Accuracy' field. As accuracy is lower the evaluation is more correct.
However if the number of records found is low, the evaluation might be incorrect. I think a 15-20 founded records with similar goalkeepers
is good enough to credit the evaluation as correct.
Is this good for something? To responde to this, I would like to cite the hottrick.org site (I hope
they don't mind because I'm linking to them), where I saw for the first time a tool like this:
'You could buy some just-before-the-skill-increase goalies after they have played in a friendly game, but before training... if you'll do it right (and if you're a bit lucky), then they'll jump to the next level on thursday/friday... I know people that used to be in this business, and they did it with success! Money, money, money... hmmm... weren't we supposed to play football?'
