Virtual League DetailsA new feature was released yesterday, maybe with not the best name, but the ideea is that is online, and it`s trying to bring something new in the user experience.
Virtual League Details is almost the same as League Details except, that clicking on the textes comming for upcomming matches you can enter a result for that match, and instantly the league standing will be recalculated.
I think this could be a very usefull tool, specially at the end of the seasons. when you do a lot of calculations about your league standing.
This tool is only for VHO Supporters, but for a while will be available for free use to all of the users.
On the other hand, some optimization crons was implemented, the world details, and the database from which the Keeper Tool and Outfielder Tool are taking the datas are recalculated every Sunday night. Monday night, an other cron is running starting arround 4:30, which is deleting the older than 6-8 months data from the databases. Tuesday, an other cron will optimize all the tables (this one is also starting arround 4:30). The important issue about this last two crons, is that, during their run the site will be closed, however a status message about the procedure, and a rough time estimation will be displayed).
